Antonio Ianniello

Antonio Ianniello passed away September 26th, 2019 in Boynton Beach, FL at the age of 81. Born June 25th, 1938, he was the firstborn son of Luigi Ianniello and Angelina Ianniello. He migrated from Taranto, Italy to Stamford, Connecticut at the age of 19 in 1957 and began his career as a barber and hairstylist, until a partnership with his brother was formed in 1974 to open Antonio & Dino, one of the first Unisex salons of its kind in Stamford’s popular Landmark Square Plaza until about 1985. In 1991 he moved to Florida to be closer to family and friends. He is survived by his three sons and daughter — Antonio, Louis, Michael, and Alicia. His youngest son Sondro preceded him in death last year. He is additionally survived by his two sisters (Phyllis and Maria) and brother Dino, along with three adored nephews, a niece, and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed; The family will be having a private service.
