Daniel J Harkness, 84, of Elkhorn WI (Briny Breezes) passed away February,20th 2023 after many years of heath issues.
He was born November 26th,1938 to Grove and Evelyn Harkness (original Brinyites)
He graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1956, after a short stint in the Navy returned home to work at the family plumbing company where he spent many years as a plumbing and heating contractor.
He enjoyed playing sheepshead and pinochle with his friends, studying maps, watching old movies and telling his stories. He started visiting Briny at the age of 14 and had several fond memories of his days at the beach, fishing and swimming.
Dan was a true lover of animals, he had many beloved pets over the years and was more than tolerant with any creatures that his family brought home.
He is survived by his loving wife Annie of 59 years, 4 children Renee (Jerry), Michelle (Michael), Derek (Lynn) Danielle (Marc) 5 grand-children Rachel ,Ryan ,Tyler, Hannah, Sydney and 4 great -grandchildren Quinn, Molly, Reese and Declan
