Edward Lee Solomon, 79, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on June 18, 2024. Ed was born on June 6, 1945 in Framingham, Massachusetts to Morris and Sophie Solomon. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Haste, son-in-law, Rod Haste, and his favorite grandson, Joseph Fiorello.
He lived a life full of his love for the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. He achieved a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physical Education. He worked extensively with handicapped children before taking over his father’s hardware business. Throughout the years Ed enjoyed swimming, golfing, bowling, cartography, and world history.
Ed will long be remembered for his words of wisdom, candor, and care for others. It was important to him to treat people the right way, and he made sure to instill these values in his daughter and grandson.
A private service will be held for his immediate family at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to 211 of the Palm Beach/ Treasure Coast, where he volunteered for many years.
He will be forever loved, and his memory will carry on in our hearts.
