Jacqueline Annette Gluckman

Jacqueline Annette Gluckman (nee Novit) 82, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Melville, NY, passed away, peacefully, at home on July 29, 2020, with her family at her side. Jackie was born in Walterboro, SC, on January 17, 1938, to the late Albert and Bessie Novit, and predeceased by her sister, Leona Novit Siegel. Jackie went to school first at the Central Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, Missouri, and then to Gallaudet University, where she met her husband. She worked for many years at Pilgrim State Hospital as a therapy aide. Jackie is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Michael Gluckman (Dawn); daughter, Deborah Lange (Paul); grandchildren: Samantha (Elliot), Daniel, Nicole, and Andrew; and great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Lee; her brother, Herb Novit (Tina); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws: Don and Judy; Roger and Hillary; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Jackie warmed the hearts of everyone she touched, and she will be dearly missed by family and friends.


Funorial will be Sunday August 2nd, 10:00 AM
