Jaroslava Hanna-Iora Adkinson

Jaroslava Hanna-lora Adkinson, "Honey", passed away peacefully on April 12th, 2017 in her home in Palm Springs, Florida. She was proceeded in death by her beloved children Sandy Helms and Rick Adkinson and is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years Charles Adkinson and son Michael Adkinson, as well as her daughters in law Janette Adkinson and Lori Adkinson. Her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends will remember her for all the love and light she had for us all. She was born in Czechoslovakia on April 26, 1928 and fell in love with an American Soldier name Charles Adkinson in 1945. Through letters and phone calls for over 2 years, she bravely decided to come to America to become his wife and start a family. She was devoted to her church, to her friends and to teaching children. She was loving and kind. Adventurous and brave. She was beautiful and smart and completely endearing to everyone who was blessed enough to meet her. She will be missed by so many.
