Joan Elizabeth Zika Ramagos, 83, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away peacefully on July 31, 2017, with her loving family at her side. Joan was born on February 25, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a resident of Florida for over 60 years, retiring from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office as a Court Deputy. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph George and Elizabeth (Dassinger) and her brother Ronald Howard Zika.
Joan is survived by her four daughters, Sandra Ramagos (FL), Diane Vila and her husband Ignacio (FL), Laura Weidman and her husband Joseph (MI), Denise Slade and her husband Bill (FL). Also surviving are 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jennifer, Tiffany, Joe, Megan, Jenna, Mallory, Brooke, William, Mason and Alexander.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 am, at Saint Henry Catholic Church, 1500 S Andrews Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL 33069
In Lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Organization, or an Animal Rescue of your choice.
