SIRACUSE, John P. 79, longtime resident of Everett and Wakefield, MA, and for the past 15+ years a resident of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021.
Cherished son of the late Joseph and Rose (Vernacchio) Siracuse. Loving father of Lisa DeFabritiis and her husband Gerardo; and John Siracuse, Jr. Adored grandfather of John, Stephanie, Ryan, Silvano and Daisy, and four great-grandchildren. Caring brother of the late Michael Siracuse and his wife Rita; the late Patty Deveau and her husband Joe; and Joan Nunez and her husband Charlie. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John retired from National Grid after 40 years, then moved to Delray Beach, FL where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends and family at Palm Greens. John was an avid sports fan who followed the Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots passionately.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 670 Washington Ave., Revere, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association at www.act.alz.org
