Paul D. Masiello, of Delray Beach, Florida, died peacefully at his home August 7, 2015. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, January 12, 1931. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service, including serving during the Korean War. He went on to work as a realtor, and later in sales for Sears Home Improvements in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Paul married his wife Pamela in 1954. Paul enjoyed golfing with his friends, going to musicals, and walking at Wakodahatchee Wetlands. There, he was a keen and knowledgeable observer of the wildlife, following them throughout their life cycles. His wit, humor, and gentle nature will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pamela Masiello; his sister, Dorothy Bousquet; his 5 children, Sheryl M. McNair, Brian P. Masiello, Catherine M. Schmidt, Dr. Elizabeth R. Masiello, and BG (sel) Gregory L. Masiello; 12 grand-children and 6 great-grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors (855-448-3997) are recommended. His ashes will be interred at South Florida National Cemetery on Monday, August 24th at 9:00 am and a Memorial Service will be arranged at a later date.
