Beckie Schroeder passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at home in Boca Raton, Florida, she was 87 years old. Beckie was born on February 3, 1938 in Frankfurt, Kentucky, to Lou Anna Burkhart White and James Dempsey White Sr. She was raised on a farm in Wickliffe, Ky. She attended Paducah Tillman high school, graduating class of 1956. She married her high school sweetheart US Navy Pilot, Richard Lee Schroeder Christmas Eve 1959, and traveled to Newfoundland Canada, where they had their first child. After the Navy, they settled in Paducah, Kentucky overlooking the beautiful Ohio river, and had another child! Later relocating to Singer Island, Florida in 1968 and divorced. Beckie then went to nursing school and had an exciting career as a Registered Nurse and raised her two children!

Beckie, MamaCita, Bami, BS1 was fun loving, kind hearted, energetic, a bit stubborn, and loved by everyone who met her! She loved to play golf and have Happy Hour with family, friends and the dogs!

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karen Schroeder and her son Kevin Schroeder (Becky), her granddaughters, Danielle Everage (Travis) and Samantha Schroeder (Daniel), and great grandchildren, Anna Lee and Benjamin! Her Niece Becky Ann Strauss and her children and grandchildren. She loved her fur babies Kona and recently passed HoneyChild Modeen. She was proceeded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Dempsey and Nancy White.

The family is planning a private celebration of life in January. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelters.
