Robert Preston Green Sr. was born on August 25th, 1965 to the Late Thomasene Blake and James T. Green Jr. He was the fifth child of six children. He lived the majority of his life in Camden, NJ. He attended the Camden Public School System. He enlisted in the army, after high school.
Robert was a jack of all trades. He would always end up with supervisor positions.
He married his beloved childhood sweetheart Carla Green. In this union two son's were born: Brandon L. Green and Robert P. Green Jr.
Robert was raised in the church. He trusted God with everything in his heart. He became a deacon at The Love Fellowship Tabernacle in Camden, NJ. Pastor Anthony Robert Jones is Pastor. He believed in prayer and having a relationship with God.
He taught class at Faith Farm Ministries during his time working there, and he was the Supervisor of the dock. The men really respected my husband Robert, for the being sincere and how open he would be to them. He loved teaching the word of God, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
Robert went home to be with the Lord on May 21st, 2022. God told him, his job was done!
Robert leaves to cherish his Wife Carla Green of 32 years. Two Son's Brandon L. Green and Robert P. Green Jr. He has predeceased his Brothers James T. Green III and Eric Green, Sisters Latonya Clark, Rosalie Green, Erma Green, and Veronica Green, his best friend and brother Arnold Cunningham,(Stephanie Cunningham), Granddaughter Tionne Cherie Green, and a host of aunts, uncles, and nieces.
Revelations 21:4 and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
