Ronald Panton

February 12, 1949 — May 6, 2021

Ronald Panton of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on the 6th of May, 2021. He is survived his wife, Lynne Panton, his children William Panton, Dustin Panton, Lauren Panton, Michele Thompson, Christine King, Edward Dowd, and Donald Dowd. As well his grandchildren, Gabriella and Jaxson Panton, Aimee Rob Reynard, Carrie Thompson, Chipper Thompson, Reeve King, CJ King, Brekka Dowd, Tori Dowd, Parker, Gavin, and Riley.

Ron Panton was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, to parents William and Pauline Panton. He was a very special man, as his daughter, Lauren, told me she was very blessed to have him. She said, not only was he the best Dad, he was my favorite person I've ever known. No one can replace that sweet man's soul. He is irreplaceable.

As far as being his wife, Ron gave me unconditional love. I am a better person to have had his love. I love him with all my heart, and I will miss him forever.

All Ron's children and grandchildren adored him. He was such a kind, loving man. Most of his friends said Ron was a cool guy! He loved Football, the Patriots, and Tom Brady. He loved animals and always had at least four or five in the house. Ron also loved to ride Harleys, as he would say to me when he was going for a ride, "Honey - Just have to go and blow the dust off. He was a free spirit and the most important thing to him was his children and grandchildren.

Ron served in the Army and the Vietnam War. He worked for the United States Postal Service, and was a postman for almost 40 years. He loved everything about history, politics, and was an avid reader.

It's hard to describe Ron, he was one of a kind. The kindest, sweetest, loving man I have ever met. He said, "Please don't be sad I'm gone. Live your life. Just remember me, and smile. Don't waste your time on worrying about things you can't control."

Up until the end, his positive outlook and sense of humor remained with him. In the last six months, we talked about eight hours a day. I could talk with him forever.

Ron, we will forever adore and remember you. We will stand taller and stronger knowing you are watching over us.

Ron will be buried in the South Florida National Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life for his family and friends.

Fly free, my love. You will be sorely missed, until we meet again!
