Ronnie passed away April 27, 2019. He was 58 yrs old
Ronnie was born in Dearborn, MI on July 19, 1960. He grew up in Boca Raton and graduated from Boca High in 1978. He worked hard for JG Joe Roth Glass for 40 years, even after dialysis. He did lunch often at Boca City Hall Banyon Tree. The birds, lizards and squirrels will miss him.
Ronnie was a strong, hard working, kind and humorous man. He loved Alaskan King Crab, soup beans, corn bread, fried potatoes in Crisco in a black skillet, ice cream and chocolate milk shakes. He also loved Budweiser, Mountain Dew, westerns, animals, fishing, politics (Rush Limbaugh).
Ronnie is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Kimberly Vislocky-Whisman, together 42 years, Abby Rose, border collie, and many pets furry, fuzzy and feathered.
Ronnie was preceded in death by parents Zeldon C Whisman, Katherine M Bartley and sister, Peggy Howe.
Ronnie was also survived by 11 brothers and sisters, Jack P. Whisman (Judy), Sandra Kushel (Sarge),
Marsha Lynn, Kathy, King, Brenda Murray (Danny), Ross E Whisman, Kimitha Joy, Donna Roth (Tom), Gerald Whisman, Judy McLaughlin (Rubin), Dale S Whisman, Daniel Whisman (Cathy) and many, many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11 AM at St Gregory’s Episcopal Church, 100 NE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33429, followed by a comfort food reception in the Church Hall.
In lieu of flowers, Kimberly will be collecting cozy throws at the church for Davita Kidney Dialysis and East Boca Hospital to comfort patients and staff and to brighten things up. Throws can also be delivered to JG Joe Roth Glass, 51 NW 7th St, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
