On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, Gloria Jean McConnell née McMahon, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at age 60.
Gloria was born on July 8, 1962, in Bayonne, New Jersey to Joseph and Gloria (née Gallett) McMahon. Gloria worked at Military Sealift Command until marrying Mark McConnell and moving to Florida. While raising her two beloved children, she worked as a real estate agent and entrepreneur in stem cell research and other industries.
Gloria lived every day to the fullest——and brightened any room she entered. She was a creative and hard-working person, an attentive and generous friend, and an extraordinary mother and wife. She would often ask her family and friends, "Has anyone told you they love you today?" To everyone she met, Gloria overflowed with love and excitement for life.
She is survived by her husband Mark, two sons Tobias and Kingsly, brother Daniel McMahon, and sisters Florence Pidgeon and Michelle Paiz. She will be interned at Boca Raton Mausoleum in Boca Raton, Florida.
