Shirley Frances Owens Vislocky
Shirley Francis Owens Vislocky passed away on October 7, 2017. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was preceded in death by her husband John Vislocky, who was employed as an IBM Engineer for over thirty years and retired to become the President and CEO of Engineered Systems and Development Corporation in San Jose, California.
She was a graduate of Edgewood Park Jr. College Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., attended Union University School of Nursing, Albany, N.Y. and majored in Interior Design at Westlake College, Saratoga, California.
She is survived by son’s John P. Vislocky and Kevin M. Vislocky, daughter Kimberly A. Whisman, daughter-in-law Wendy L. Vislocky and grandson William C. Vislocky.
She was an active member of the Boca Raton Board of Realtors for over 18 years. She was an active member of the Estahakee Chapter DAR and served on the Board of Directors of the Shamrock Club. She was also an active member of St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church.
