In Loving Memory of Steven “Steve” Aaron Rubel
November 4, 1956 – October 9, 2026
Steven “Steve” Aaron Rubel, 69, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on October 9, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a lasting impression on the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Born on November 4, 1956, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Steve was a wonderful man whose kindness, love, and passion for life touched the lives of many.
Music was one of Steve’s greatest joys. A talented guitarist, he loved playing his guitar and sharing his passion for music with the band he performed alongside. Whether making music or simply enjoying the moment, Steve found happiness in doing what he loved. He also had a deep appreciation for the ocean, spending countless treasured moments out on his boat and fishing in the open waters.
Steve dedicated many years of his life to working as a CT Technologist, a career he genuinely loved. Through his work, he had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, leaving an impact that extended far beyond his profession.
Above all, Steve loved his family and his beloved dog, Dug. His presence, the memories he created, and the love he shared will forever remain in the hearts of those closest to him.
Steve is survived by his loving daughter and only child, Alyssa Rubel; his older brother Ron Rubel and his wife, Tammy, and his younger stepbrother Barry Leiba and his wife, Marilyn Auerbach; along with family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Rubel, his stepfather Max Leiba, and his mother, Sylvia (Abrams) Leiba.
Steve’s life was filled with music, love, laughter, and those moments will never be forgotten. Though his time here has come to an end, the memories he leaves behind and the lives he touched will continue to carry his legacy forward. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always cherished.
