William Wayne Ryan

William Wayne Ryan . It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wayne on September 17, 2023. Born on June 26, 1952, in Delaware, Wayne was the son of Betty L. Ryan and the late Frank Willis Ryan, Jr. Wayne was a 1970 graduate of Smyrna High School and was a proud member of the wrestling team where he was crowned 1970 state champion in the 115lb weight class. After graduation Wayne moved to Florida where he began his long career in the booming high rise construction industry. Wayne was a lifetime member of the Fort Lauderdale Fraternal Order of Eagles where he served as first a Worthy Trustee and then as Worthy President for a total of 18 years out of the 25 years that he was a member. He had a passion for the Arie, a love of people, and a joy of cooking. All which he shared freely without hesitation. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Kelly; his mother Betty L. Ryan; sisters, Rosanna R. Faries and Malisa J. Ryan; brother, Jon E. Ryan, and a host of nieces and nephews. Wayne will be dearly missed by his family and many friends that he considered to be his family as well. A memorial service will be held at the Fort Lauderdale Eagles at a date to be determined later
